Kat Starbird's Maternity Leave Details
Hello!
Have you heard? Our little boy is due 11/11 and my last day in the clinic is November 1, 2019.
I’m inviting you in now, for some acupuncture bliss, reset, energy work, healthcare overhaul, consult, whatever it is - come see me before I meet my first baby boy (due 11/11). You better believe I will be out here on our Sauvie island farm building a relationship with our little guy. Ill be enjoying plenty of recovery time while documenting my motherhood journey, offering virtual consults for root cause women’s health and emotional guidance for birth preparation for my new virtual course, Birthing From Love (More to come on that next month). Hopefully late winter I will be adventuring snowy peaks with my husband Jason, our pup Olive and this little angel baby!
MATERNITY LEAVE DETAILS
In early October I will be slowing down my clinical hours to fully launch my online platform and connect with my baby and family. My online schedule reflects these changes. I will still be in clinic Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and will step out fully November 1st. My wonderful colleagues at Vitalize will care for all your needs, from women’s health and common colds to sports and motherhood injuries. For my patients who want a women’s health specialist, like me, while i’m away - someone who specializes in fertility through postpartum care, i’m referring to my colleague Allie Machen, LAc of Vela Wellness She is located in St Johns, is a mama of three, used to be a doula, and her emotional style of patient care is similar to mine. If yo’re looking for energy work and more esoteric or spiritual healing we do in our sessions, I recommend Julie Brockman at Sacred Path Healing. Vitalize Acupuncture will answer all your questions about who if the best fit to see while i’m away, and i’m happy to respond to emails if you have personal concerns or questions.
I do not not know what motherhood will bring to me so i’m fully surrendering to my maternity leave.
I may return to Vitalize part time. I may feel the urge to open a new women’s center in PDX, I have no idea! I do know I will be returning to clinic in some capacity by March 1st and you’ll have to keep up on the newsletter and IG to stay informed! I’ve fully surrendered to not knowing where my heart will align to serve all you amazing humans but please know ill be back and i’m just a quick email away from connecting with you.
